Live sheet moss
Live sheet moss creates low, green coverage on humid terrarium surfaces. Its thin mats suit woodland-style planted glass and moist moss displays.
Position it on a suitable base
Place pieces on a clean, evenly damp substrate and press gently for contact. Keep moss clear of plant crowns so it does not trap water against delicate stems.
Keep it alive
Provide soft indirect light, steady moisture and some ventilation. Avoid hot direct sunlight, drying the mats completely or leaving them submerged.
Natural material
Live moss can arrive with small pieces of plant debris or occasional invertebrates. Check the material before using it in sensitive enclosures.
